Bretonnia
January 9th, 2008 by Missy
Well, being the fickle person that I am, I’m all about Bretonnia at the moment. My poor, poor Lizardmen. Guess they’ll just sit around unpainted for a while as I work on the soup du jour.
<— Work in progress Knight of the Realm. My first attempt with non-metallic metals. I’m not particularly happy with it, and the paint on the caparison is much too thick. Hopefully by the time I finish this unit of eight I’ll be a bit more adept. Then my next unit can look good and eventually these guys will get relegated to standby for when I don’t have enough nicely painted models to fill out the list that I’m playing.
If anyone has any suggestions on the non-metallic metal, I’d gladly take them. Or suggestions on getting my paint more even. I haven’t been thinning it (I know, I know, big mistake) and I started thinning it when I did the right side, but I don’t honestly notice much of a difference. The paint still looks.. globby.
